Groven Camping og Hyttegrend is located 500 m above sealevel in a peaceful forest environment with view to Ytre Vinje. The site, which is landscaped in levels, has in addition to its cottages room for approximately 60 tents.

In addition to the interesting nature at the site, Groven is located nearby the mountain-areas Rauland (25 km) and Haukelifjell (60 km). Groven is a childrens place and as such a typical family camp. The village Åmot, located 300 m from Groven, offers most services. 10 comfortable cottages with electrisity. Kitchen bench w/oven. Livingroom w/fireplace and sofabed. 2 bedrooms w/2 beds each. Small timberhuts with room for 4 people. Groven is an excellent starting point for trips/hikes during both summer and winter. Groven, with its typical inland climate and localization nearby a small lake and a river, offers most summer activities.
