Here, in the middle of the wild and beautiful Romsdal Valley, by road E 136, just 10 km from ?ndaknes, you have the ideal starting point for day trips to many famous atractions, such as the ""Atlanterhavsveien"" road, Mardakfossen Waterfall, or ""The Golden Route"" over the ""Troll Road"" to Geiranger. Mountain climbers consider ""The Troll Wall"" to be a climber's ""test of manhood"". Dramatic feats of mountaineering and risky parachute jumps have made ""The Troll Wall"" world famous. The triumphs and tragedies have been numerous. At Trollveggen Camping you have ""a seat in the Stalls "" from which to follow the climbers ' movements up on the Troll Wall.
