Sutøya Feriepark

Sutøya is a small peninsuta placed in the river of Hallingdal and near rv.7, 4km north of Nesbyen. The whole place is about 600 square metres. All cabins are upgraded in 2018/2019

Here you ll find activities like beachvolley playground for the kids and places where you can just enjoy the nature and relax. It s also possible to go for a swim. All of our gueste can enjoy fishing for free, inside the area( about 1 km).The river of Hallingdal is known as one of the best to catch a trout in a lot of fish is catched here duning the summer. The place contains a clean sanitary installation whith toilets,showers,washing machines, driers. In the mainhouse where the reception is you can get something to eat/drink inkl.beer/wine. There also possible to watch tv here..Here can we also offer you som grocerys and fast food. Sutøya Feripark is 3 stars. It is room for 100 caravans/tents whit elk, where 50 places are reserved for those who stays here the whole seson/year. There are 25 cabins . Some of them are small and simple( from 2-4 pers.) and others are more exclusive whith shower and toilet ( 4-6 pers-45-60m2). Here you have 2 bedroom,and the largest type has a dichwasher and sauna.The cabins are hot and warm even in the winter, and are organized so you can suit yourself, with a small kitchen and tv, pillows and quilts. Nesbyen Youth Hostal is 2 stars The hostel contains -50 beds in 2-3 and 4 beds rom/cabins. The hostel is open from 1/5 - l5/9. We wish you all welcome to a quiet and nice place the whole year- come alone-bring friends/ family or may be come as a group from 15 to 50 pers. From Sutøya you have the possibility to take nice daytrips and discover Hallingdal, Sogne og Hardanger fjordene, Flåmsbanen and Hardangervidda. In the authumn you can find different kinds of berries and mushroom not far from here. In the winter it takes about 15 min whit car to Nesbyen alpinsenter and 45 min to Hemsedal. Here you can go skiing or try slalom. There are a lot of prepareded skitracks around in the mountains. Not far from Sutøya you find different places that's worth a sightseeing,like Bjørneparken(with beers) Langedrag ( with lots of different animals). And old crater from a meteor in Garnås. Hallingdal folkemuseum.You should also take a walk through the old part of Nesbyen. Nesbyen is a small place whit different shops that will cover your needs.
